The Motorola SLVR is thinner than the Motorola RAZR, the trend setter in terms of thin mobile phones, but is slightly thicker than its cousin the Motorola L6. The styling is very similar to the Motorola L6, with toughened glass and the infamous metallic keypad, yet it packs a few more features.

The screen on the Motorola SLVR is of high quality for its price range with a 262K display. It comes with an average VGA camera and video recorder, don’t leave your digital camera at home just yet! One advantage of the SLVR over the L6 is the built in MP3 player that can handle both MP3 and AAC formats.

The SLVR supports Bluetooth connectivity as well as USB. However there is no infared support with this phone. If you are looking to use this phone as an MP3 player, you will need to purchase a Transflash memory card which are available up to 512 Mbytes.

Overall this is a handy little phone, with enough features to get you through your working day. Battery life is good, it looks cool and will serve you well for the duration of your contract.
