i have been on orange for around 3 years now and signed up on their 'dolphin' package. it is great because it just suited to my phone use style - lots of messages really. it is very cheap considering, i dont have to pay more like on other network contracts when i dont make calls so much. orange also offer lots of great extras like their cinema offer which is greatly appreciated. the only problem i have with them is their customer service. i had a problem with my contract i needed sorted and they always put you on hold. besides that they are pretty polite when you do speak to them.
Network coverage for Orange is probably one of the better companies but like all of there are places where you will have trouble getting signal. The highlight of Orange for me is their service, if they think you want to leave the network they will keep offering things to get you to stay. I keep getting discounts and free credit and also reduced cost for new phones when negotiating my terms. They are a company that want your custom and will bend over to take it. im not complaining, my contract keeps getting cheaper and cheaper woohoo!
Many moons ago I had been on T-Mobile but had chosen to move away from them due to poor signal coverage. Back then I opted for Orange but was on pay as you go, as I had been on T-Mob. Earlier this year however, I decided to go for a contract phone for the first time as I decided that it would probably end up costing me a lot less money now that I use my phone a lot more for work. Orange customer services were surprisingly helpful in setting up a contract for me, I opted for their Dolphin plan and it works wonders for me and is a very attractive price. Now I hear my old network is joining with Orange, I hope they don't bring any of their bad coverage with them as I have thus far had no problem on this front with Orange!
