The Nokia N96 is a great new smart phone from Nokia which is the upgrade from the N95. The Nokia N96 is actually very similar to the N95 but it has a massive 16GB of internal storage which is very useful. The phone is also equipped with a 5 mega pixel camera and WiFi as well as all of the features found in the Nokia N95. However, the phone isn’t all good. The battery life is extremely poor and you may find that the software freezes from time to time. Nokia N series phones have always been prone to crashing but I will say that this time, they’ve upgraded to a new version of Symbian and the freezing and crashing isn’t as often as before.

The Nokia N96 reviews that I’ve read seem to indicate that this phone is actually not that much of an improvement on the N95. The major differences are the operating system upgrade, the larger memory and the GPS system now allows you to download maps for free which is good. Other than that, it’s pretty much the N95 in a new casing. The style of the phone is good and I think the design of the keypad is a major improvement from the N95. There are also a lot of Nokia N96 deals available which make this phone a little more affordable for people on a budget.
The Nokia N96 contract phone is a great upgrade from the N95 but to be honest you’re not getting much more and the battery life is worse than on the N95. The Nokia N96 video review is able to show you a little more about what the phone is like when you’re using it but so far I’m not as impressed as I thought I’d be. There was a lot of anticipation over this phone and I’m not really sure why now that I’ve seen it. It’s a good phone; don’t get me wrong, it’s just not a great improvement on the Nokia N95 phone.
