The LG KC550 Orsay has been launched with not so much excitement as would be expected for a phone with a 5 mega pixel camera. However, this phone isn’t as it may seem. The phone itself is very similar to the Viewty and offers very similar features except that the Orsay (KC550) has fewer features and seems to concentrate on the camera more than anything else. If you’re looking for a camera phone that is simply that, a camera with little or no other features then this phone is ideal for you. The phone is only available on GSM and has a 2.4 inch screen so isn’t absolutely amazing like people may have expected.
The LG KC550 Orsay reviews have been mixed so far, some people have been saying it’s a great phone whereas others have been saying it’s an ok phone. I’ve not read anything majorly bad about this phone yet. The features on the phone are good and the camera is definitely the best feature. At 5 mega pixels you can take some great photos and can enjoy them on the big screen thanks to the TV out function. It’s just so surprising that not much fuss was surrounding this phone during its launch period.
The phone may sport a flashy camera and a good video recording facility but being honest, that’s about all it does have. There is no touch screen on this phone and I think it is supposed to be marketed towards budget customers who aren’t able to afford the Viewty. There are some good LG KC550 Orsay deals available. However, nothing seems to have been missed on the camera and you can definitely enjoy some great shots with this phone. I do like the look of the phone as well and if you buy the LG KC550 Orsay contract phone then you can enjoy it for the duration.
