That’s right people; the newly announced Sony Ericsson W715 will be exclusive to Vodafone. The handset that was launched in the same week as the Sony Ericsson C510 and the W508 will not be on any other network. Essentially the W715 is an updated version of the earlier Sony Ericsson W705, However it is now GPS enabled allowing customers to take advantage of Vodafone’s Vodafone Find&Go service.
The W715 comes with a fairly average 3.2 mega pixel camera and 120MB of internal memory, although this is expandable up to 4GB using the micro SD slot. Where the W715 walkman series wins over is in terms of sound quality. It uses the same superior sound technology that can be found in the W980 phone, one of the best walkman mobile phones to date. If it is music that you are after on your mobile phone, and you don’t want an iphone then this is a serious contender for one of the best looking mobile phones built for music.
In terms of colour, the handset will be released in black and silver, with more colours surely expected as the phone reaches maturity. You can sign up to be notified of the latest Sony Ericsson W715 deals on our dedicated page.
