Sony Ericsson are releasing a new bow to its Cyber-shot range of mobile phone, this time it’s the C903 Cyber-shot. This is yet another manufacturer (like Samsung with the Tocco Ultra Edition and LG with the Arena before it) trying to big up their mobile phone prior to the start of the Mobile World Congress which starts next week in Barcelona.
As like all other Cyber-shot mobile phones, it’s geared towards a market that requires some great digital photography capabilities within their mobile phone. This mobile phone does provide all the standard features that we all expect from a mobile phone such as Bluetooth, 3G support, music player (etc, etc) however what I really want to discuss further today is its digital photography capabilities.
The Sony Ericsson C903 Cyber-shot offers a middle of the range 5 mega pixel camera, not as impressive at its big brother the Sony Ericsson C905 but still quite a reasonable quality. It boasts all the trimmings in order to get the best digital photographs including built in flash (not Xenon flash), auto focus, face detection, smile shutter technology and BestPic. If you are thinking, what on earth are all these fancy extras, the smile technology will take a picture when it detects a smile and BestPic will take 9 photos in rapid succession and keep the best. Very clever!
The C903 offers a huge range of nice little add-ons to make your life a hell of a lot easier, especially if you are about and about. Its offers features such as Flickr and Uploadr direct photo upload and like the Sony Ericsson C510 it supports the capabilities to upload your videos directly to YouTube. Not only can you share your photos and videos with your friends directly from your phone, but another great addition to this phone it its TV-out facility. Say after an interesting night out on the town, you could hook up your C903 TV-out port to a big screen to show off all your images.
