Set to hit stores towards the latter part of May, there is high anticipation among consumers for the release of the HTC Snap. Some internet reviews claim that the HTC Touch is currently the best Smartphone HTC has come up with. However, there are rumours circulating that the HTC Snap has the potential to outdo the success of its earlier counterpart. General Information
The HTC Snap weighs 120g and its dimensions are 116.5 x 61.5 x 12 mm—almost identical to the size and weight of the Apple iPhone 3G.However, it only comes in one color: brown. The HTC Snap has a 2.4-inch screen with a 320 x 240 resolution. Instead of having a touch screen display, it makes use of a QWERTY keyboard and comes with trackball navigation to facilitate scrolling. Its memory is quite impressive as it has a 192MB RAM and has a microSD memory card slot that allows up to 16GB of storage. The HTC Snap’s camera is mediocre—2 Megapixels with a 1600 x 1200 resolution, but is capable of taking videos. It has a standard Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery that allows up to 480 hours of stand-by time (3G network) and up to 8 and a half hours of talk time on the 2G network.
