Nokia-7020-pink-angleLeave it to Nokia to come up with yet another attention-getting mobile phone. The Nokia 7020 is hard to ignore as it boasts of a sophisticated design with striking hues. The phones come in hot pink and graphite and if I remember accurately, will also be offered in silver and blue. The phone’s finish is a reflective metal that is quite dynamic as the colours seem to shift when the device is moved. A feature that is sure to delight users is the hidden secondary screen on the front that performs a stardust effect when tapped twice. You tap the phone if you want to view the time or how many calls and messages you have received.
Since the Nokia 7020 is being marketed primarily to emerging market consumers, Nokia has incorporated two applications that will no doubt be valuable to people located in remote areas. The 7020 is equipped with Nokia Life Tools and Ovi Mail. Nokia Life Tools is of particularly commendable as it brings information that is vital to the livelihood of farmers and educational progress of students. Farmers can access techniques, seed and fertilizer availability amongst other things. Students who wish to enhance their English language skills can view simple courses over their phones.
Apart from these two, there is a broad range of other applications that users will certainly find extremely useful.

Nokia further enhances the functionality of the device by bringing the Internet closer to consumers in developing localities. Internet surfing is more than adequate as the phone comes with XHTML, HTML, WML and WAP support. It has an MP3 player, an FM radio, a 2 megapixel camera and a main camera for video recording and playback. Additional amusement is provided by pre-loaded games.

The pricing of the Nokia 7020 is very friendly indeed, just a little over £75. This mobile device is scheduled for release sometime during the fourth quarter of the year.
