A Mobile to Keep You in Step
Samsung-Omnia-Pro-B7610People’s lives are so busy these days that it is often an issue juggling your business life with your personal one. Korean mobile company Samsung aims to assist mobile phone users in balancing the work and personal aspects of their lives by way of the new Samsung Omnia Pro B7610.

The Omnia Pro B7610 is packed with powerful features designed to help you make the most out of your life. The mobile device offers separate Work and Life modes and as you can expect, Work mode showcases professional features while Life mode concentrates more on the entertainment side.

Work Mode
Samsung-Omnia-ProBusiness functionality includes push e-mail for multiple corporate e-mail accounts, the Pocket Office which allows you to view and make changes to documents such as PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files and a nifty business card scanner amongst other things.

Naturally because this is a Samsung mobile, the device sports a very solid hardware and software support for optimum performance. Its 3G connectivity and Opera 9.5 browser make for speedy data transfers and online surfing, quite akin to a PC experience, according to the company. The Omnia Pro boasts of a powerful 800MhZ processor and dedicated graphics technology for a decidedly more enhanced user experience.

The multimedia set is led by a 5MP camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. It also has panorama, smile and best shot functions as well as video recording capabilities. Its media player is compatible with a wide range of audio and video formats. There is also a stereo FM radio built into the phone as well as a GPS navigation system with A-GPS support.

It appears the HTC Touch Pro 2 is in for some tough competition, or perhaps another messaging phone, the Nokia E72. The Omnia Pro is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2009 and although we are still waiting for official pricing details, this device will probably cost somewhere around £600.
