Nokia-2730-classic-blackIf I were to choose only a few words to describe the Nokia 2730 Classic it would be simple, striking yet speedy. Simple because this latest candybar model from Nokia sports a straightforward, uncluttered design. It has a 2 inch QVGA screen and below that you will find a navigation pad and the keyboard. Yet even with this simplicity, the Nokia 2730 puts forward some notable features and this is where the device is most striking.

Nokia-2730-classic-black-frontThe Nokia 2730 boasts of speedy Web browsing and e-mailing experience with its 3G support. You may also find interesting the Nokia Life Tools and Ovi applications incorporated into the phone. Nokia Life Tools is a service that aims to bring data that is crucial to farmers and students located in far-flung areas. Nokia, you see, aims to target consumers from emerging markets with this phone although people who value productivity may also want to purchase this device.

Ovi Calendar and Contacts is also available on this unit so you can organise your personal and business information. This feature also allows you to retrieve your information on a PC or any place where you get Internet access. Ovi Mail allows for easy e-mailing as you can set up your account, send or receive mail directly on your phone, without using a computer. The Nokia 2730 is also outfitted with the personal information management application or PIM which includes a calendar, notes, clock and timer and storage for up to a thousand contacts amongst other things.

The phone is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. You can record and play back videos or listen to music by way of the music player and FM stereo radio.

The Nokia 2730, which was launched along with two other affordable 3G phones, the Nokia 7020 and Nokia 2720, will be available in the third quarter of the year for a price of 80 euros.
