Media and Motion Gate
Another aspect that brings the Jet S8000 to a whole new level is the addition of the Motion gate and the 3D Media gate UI to the device. The latter, which is also known as Motion UI, is Samsung’s proprietary motion recognition engine that allows quick access to multimedia favourites and speed dialling by simply flipping, tilting, or tapping the handset. On the other hand, the 3D Media gate is an instinctive six-sided cube interface that serves as a one-touch shortcut to the six most important multimedia features—the internet, games, the FM radio, the video player, the music player, and the photo album.
Multi-Method Texting
Together with an impressive UI, Samsung has also enhanced the texting features on the Jet S8000. They have integrated a multi-method texting function that allows users to input text in three different ways. You can choose between a 3 x 4 alphanumeric keypad, a full-fledged QWERTY keyboard, or handwriting recognition via the use of a stylus. This way you’ll never run out of ways to text your buddies.
