Samsung’s S9110 Opens New Grounds for Watches

There are people who do not wear a wristwatch; instead, they carry a mobile phone for keeping track of time. In fact, the mobile phone is fast replacing a multitude of other gadgets we used to carry around. From pocket PCs to calculators to personal organizers, the mobile phone is fast becoming the one single gadget to rule them all. This is why it may comes as surprise that electronics giant Samsung is creating a watch phone.

This little gadget is inspired by spy movies and science fiction takes on a modern form with the slim Samsung S9110. While slim is not the first adjective you might consider for a phone just over a centimetre thick (the official dimension of its thickness is 11.98 millimetres), but for a watch phone with plenty of useful features and a fully functional touch screen, that is very slim; and as Samsung claims, it is the world’s thinnest watch phone.

It is a Watch, a Phone and will also Check E-Mails

An excellent functionality of this watch phone is that Samsung actually managed to cram a feature that lets you synchronize with your Outlook account and access your mails. Critics are still on the fence on whether you can cram a sufficiently decent enough interface to make your own replies on the limited screen size, but everyone is hoping that this little gizmo’s e-mail functions run smoothly.

The rest of the specs for this watch phone are unsurprising, but consistently all worth looking forward to. It has its own music player, Bluetooth, voice recognition and other useful mobile phone functions that people have come to rely upon.  This is one gadget that ensures you will not miss out when you finally decide to wear this wrist watch in lieu of a mobile phone.
