Armani and mobile phone manufacturer Samsung have been paired up for a short time now, and have a couple of mobile phones already to show for it. The latest of the Armani – Samsung smartphones, known as the Samsung B7620 runs under the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, and seems strikingly similar to the Omnia Pro B7610.
The specs for this particular mobile phone are similar to those of other high end Windows handsets; there is a generous 3.5 inch 800 x 480 pixel touch screen display, a 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus, 8 GB of built in memory and an option to expand with a microSD slot, GPS, and a slick multimedia player a built in FM radio. The wide screen is very well suited to watching videos, although the Armani Samsung B7620′s TV out port is equally useful.
One of the things that we love most about this mobile phone is the slide out full QWERTY keyboard, which is reminiscent of a the keys on a laptop – they are well spaced out and equally better arranged, with a nice, light feel to them. The mobile phone itself comes in a black and bronze coloured case, which is very distinctive and certainly makes for a classy looking body – it is designed to compliment Giorgio Armani brand suits.
There is no set date yet for when this beautiful handset will hit our shelves, although it seems almost certain that it will be prior to Christmas. The price tag is reportedly going to be around €700, (or £650,) for the sim free version – which may not be cheap, but phones of this calibre rarely are.
