We know that a lot of you are very interested in the new LG Chocolate BL20, and who wouldn’t be? Between the hype, the good looks and the fact that its sibling the BL40, which looked rather like a remote control, has also been well received; it is like one mobile phone with the market appeal of two.
Of course, the LG Chocolate BL20 is not to be confused with the lookalike BL40, and it has plenty of new features of its own. To start with, the BL20 has a built in 5 mega pixel camera that sports both flash and auto focus. Then there are the slick, touch sensitive controls, which are tucked away on the sides of the handset – users will be able to make use of these to adjust the volume of their music or zoom in with their camera. There are also some neat little hotkeys for widgets, allowing the user to personalize their mobile phone so that they can access all of their favourite features simply by pressing a single button.
We think however, that the clear winner on the LG Chocolate BL20 is the absolutely incredible new feature known as “clear memo capture”. It allows the user to capture text, drawings and hand written notes – something we think we will come in handy for a number of people, especially when they are given an address written down on paper. (I know I’ll be using it for this purpose.)
The LG Chocolate BL40 will be available on O2 sometime this year, and while we currently don’t have a set date or pricing to give you, we will provide an update as soon as new information is revealed.
