The winner of the Mobile Choice Awards for most stylish handset is the LG New Chocolate BL40.
LG‘s new Chocolate was a hands down winner at this years Mobile Choice Awards this year; a distinctive mobile phone that is a fashion statement in its own right, as much so as a trendy hair style or pricey pair of shoes. The shortlist was comprised of handsets made from high class materials, with good looks and classy bodies.
The LG new Chocolate BL40 oozes high end charm, with a 4 inch display and a slick, polished black finish. The manufacturer is not new to unusually stylish mobile phones, having won the same award for the last three years in a row.
The LG New Chocolate BL40 is the fourth mobile phone in the company’s respected Black Label Series line up, following in the footsteps of the LG Shine and the LG Secret. The handset is unusually tall in its chocolate bar design glory, and boasts over 16 million colours, as well as a 345 x 800 pixel resolution. Although the handset has obviously faced some very stiff competition, it deserved its place at the top in this years awards.
The other mobile phones the LG New Chocolate BL40 had to battle it out against on the shortlist were the HTC Touch Diamond 2, Apple’s iPhone 3GS, Nokia’s 8800 Carbon Arte and Samsung’s i8910 HD.
The fact that the LG New Chocolate BL40 was able to not only compete against, but thoroughly thrash, the Apple iPhone 3GS for the most stylish handset award speaks volumes – congratulations to LG on a fourth consecutive win.
