Nokia has just announced that the Nokia E72, the revamped, beefed up version of the E71, has just been made available for pre order.
Although the mobile phone is currently only available via the company’s website, there is unfortunately no release date provided – but as always, with pre orders open we are getting excited that the time is growing near. The website has the E72 listed at £359, which is certainly reasonable compared to a lot of the handsets we’ve seen lately, boasting similar features but reaching that £500 mark.
Some people will be a bit disappointed with this price however, as there were a statement issued back in June that said the Nokia E72 would cost only £300 – although we are hoping that the price change is the result of yet another improvement to the mobile phone.
Right now, a cause of some frustration to us, Amazon US is offering the handset for pre order in America for only $469, or approximately £295 – meaning that unfortunately we wont be getting the best deal on this mobile phone; although with its good looks and fabulous features, it is hard to stay mad.
The Nokia E72 is primarily a handset made with business in mind, however it still features an inbuilt 5 mega pixel camera with flash, the standard QWERTY keyboard and an optical track pad.
Thanks to the keyboard’s near flawless layout, paired with the improvements we are seeing on the Nokia E72 over its predecessor, the Nokia E71, we think that the phone is going to please a lot of adults who want the option of easy texting and emailing in a classy looking model, rather than going with a colourful social networking handset made with teenagers in mind.
