Nokia N97 Mini Available For Pre Order

October 19th, 2009 by Best Mobile Contracts

Nokia N97 MiniVodafone has just started offering the Nokia N97 Mini up for pre order, before it is due to launch later in the month.

As some of you may remember, it recently looked for a time as though the Orange network was offering the mobile phone for pre order, however it was then confirmed that it was all just a big mistake that Nokia had not given authorisation for, and it got shut down.

However it appears that we now have a real pre order open to us, along with the Nokia N97 Mini’s real release date – which is the 29th of October, going by the Vodafone pre order page.

The Nokia N97 Mini is a slick, small handset that makes its predecessor, the Nokia N97, look quite bulky. However, in order to slim down in size the mobile phone has had to drop the N97 original’s D pad, take on a smaller screen as well as leave out some of the camera hardware.

The internal memory is cut down from 32 GB to 16 GB, however this is still quite impressive, and we’re pretty convinced we wont need more than that – but if you are the type to fill up your new handset with music or movies, you can always add a microSD card.

The Nokia N97 Mini comes free on all of Vodafone’s contracts, unless you are trying to get it for only 18 months, in which case it costs an additional £40 per month.

If you visit Nokia’s online store you will find the N97 Mini for £429 and the larger, but more feature packed, N97 mobile phone for £449.
