Nokia today unveiled two new slide phones which come with 3G connectivity and offer users enhanced access to social network sites and messaging. The 6700 slide is a Symbian device, while the 7230 runs on S40. They both come in various colour options making it a stylish phone and also deliver great imaging features.
The Nokia 6700 slide offers a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash of six vivid colours – red, pink, aluminium, lime, purple and petrol blue. This phone is bound to attract people because of its compact size, design and aluminium finish which is great in the hands and also fits perfectly into the smallest pocket or bag.
The photos snapped with the phone’s camera can be edited from the camera menu and can be shared easily with others through the social networking features on the device. According to the phone maker, the fast 3G connectivity options included with the device offer it the possibility to deliver great experience to its users. The battery life lasts up to 29 hours of constant music playback. The specs include 2.2″ QVGA screen, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB port, microSD slot for cards up to 16GB.
The Nokia 7230 looks good on the outside. The compact slide design, colourful looks and other features are a package that offers good value for your money. The battery life offers 27hrs of music playback with a 2GB microSD card. The phone provides users with great connectivity options. The features list of the mobile phone includes a 3.2 mega pixel camera, a 2.4 inch display with great 3G connectivity. Access to instant messaging, email and social networks are easier with the handset.
Both phones are expected to be available in the market at the first quarter of 2010.
