Sony Ericsson has announced the Vivaz Pro is now being shipped to “selected markets around the world” and will reach stores very soon.
If you’re excited about getting your hands on the newest edition to the Vivaz range of smartphones, we understand why and will have Vivaz Pro deals available shortly.
Similar to the original Vivaz, the Vivaz Pro sports a 5-megapixel camera instead of an 8-megapixel one – but benefits from the addition of a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
You can still type onscreen as well as on the physical keyboard, and you can even type using the stylus because the handwriting recognition feature will turn this into text for you. And all the input methods are enhanced by the predictive text function which means the phone gets used to your vocabulary, making it effortless to type messages.
The ability to type with ease is beneficial on a phone like the Vivaz Pro as it comes with social networking integration including Twitter and Facebook apps on the home screen. When it comes to navigation, you have Google Maps for planning journeys and also Wisepilot navigation system which provides turn-by-turn guidance.
The Sony Ericsson signature “human curvature” design makes the Vivaz Pro feel so comfortable to hold, boosting your enjoyment of all the visual technology onboard this handset. The 3.2 inch touchscreen supports 16 million colours so the display is vibrant and sharp, and the camera is capable of capturing video of HD quality. The TV-out connection is great for those moments you want to share your images on the bigger screen, as it lets you easily hook your mobile to your TV or to a projector.
For entertainment, the Vivaz Pro offers you 3D games; Music Player with album art and TrackID for identifying songs from recording only a snippet; web browser and social networking sites accessible directly from the home screen; and the PlayNow store for browsing and downloading games, apps and music.
You can take a look at our Vivaz Pro reviews to find out more about this handset – which you haven’t got long to wait for now. On the Sony Ericsson blog, Daniel Sandblom stated: I’m happy to say that we have now started to ship out Vivaz pro to selected markets around the world. There might be slight differences in when it will be available for your market, so I advice you to check with your local operators and retailers for more detailed information.
