If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the BlackBerry-styled new Nokia C3, you’re in luck as Vodafone is now selling the handset in the UK.
The first mobile network provider to offer Nokia C3 deals, you can now buy the latest device on Pay As You Go from Vodafone for a mere £80 in either slate grey or hot pink.
The C3 is all about social networking and comes with Facebook, Twitter and Bebo support for easy access to these popular sites. All messages and tweets are displayed on the home screen so staying in touch is effortless and instant. The handset also comes with Multi IM, letting you enjoy instant messaging from numerous providers including Windows Live Messenger and Google Chat.
You can add up to ten email addresses. And viewing messages on the 2.4 inch screen is clear; typing messages on the full QWERTY keyboard is fast.
The handset also boasts a 2-megapixel camera, a home screen you can decorate with widgets of your choice, and Wi-Fi connection. You can discover more about this mobile’s attributes in our C3 reviews section.
Launched alongside the Nokia E71 and E63 devices, the C3 is an affordable option that joins other devices in Nokia’s C-range. These include the recently-announced C1-00, C1-01, C1-02 and C2 phones.
At the time of the C3’s launch, Nokia’s head of markets, Anssi Vanjoki said: “Our messaging device range is very successful. Services that provide easy access to the world’s consumer and corporate email and instant messaging are really popular on our QWERTY smartphones such as the Nokia E71 and Nokia E63. People want the best messaging and social networking experience on an affordable device, whether it’s sending a simple text or instant message, an email, or a direct message from their Twitter account. The Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 are made for just that.”
