The simple and affordable C1 range of mobiles phones from Nokia will soon be available in the UK, and you’ll be able to choose between C1-01 deals and C1-02 deals.
Both the Nokia C1-01 and C1-02 handsets are displayed on Nokia’s website, so release dates should be known shortly for these budget devices.
Created for phone users in developing countries, the C1 range also includes the dual-SIM phones, the C1-00 and the C2. All four handsets offer basic but functional mobile ability for a small price.
The C1-01’s design is similar to the C2 phone, and includes a 1.8 inch display and 5-way navigation key. There is a music player and FM radio onboard together with a 3.mm audio connector and expandable memory of up to 32GB via a microSD card. This 2G phone supports Bluetooth and you can access the internet through GPRS support. To stay in touch, the C1-01 offers SMS, MMS, email and instant messaging. The C1-02 likewise has a 1.8 inch colour display; an FM radio and music player; GPRS internet ability; and text, email, multimedia messages and instant messaging support. However, there is no camera included so you won’t be able to take fun snaps on the move. The internal memory can be increased to up to 32GB via a microSD card, which means you can add plenty of music and listen through earphones thanks to the 3.5mm audio connector. If budget is key or you simply want a handy back-up handset, both the C1-01 and C1-02 offer a decent amount for a small price. We’ll bring you UK release dates as soon as these are confirmed.
