The BlackBerry-style Nokia is anticipated for release this month so you can expect Nokia E5 deals soon.
Set to replace the Nokia E72, the E5 has a 2.4 inch screen and full QWERTY combination, making it ideal for messaging. Smart yet interesting looking, practical yet entertaining, the E5 strikes a balance between a work and fun smartphone.
There are plenty of social networking apps onboard this device, as detailed in our E5 reviews. As well as Facebook, Twitter and Nokia Messaging, there is a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash so you can easily share all the things you see and experience with friends. The 3G and Wi-Fi support makes uploading images onto sites like Flickr or videos onto YouTube fast – or you can simply email or send pictures through MMS.
When it comes to emailing, the handset supports clients for business and personal accounts. So you can stay in touch with colleagues as easily as you stay connected to friends and family – and with push email, there is no need to check for new messages as you will be notified on the home screen of the E5 when you receive a new email.
The battery life is up to 25 days on standby which reduces the need to constantly charge the E5. And navigating your way to events or meetings is made easy thanks to the Ovi Maps feature with turn-by-turn navigation.
This isn’t the only Nokia E-Series handset due for release soon. The Nokia E7 phone is expected in November this year, although few details are known about the device at this stage except a tilting screen and aluminium frame. Rated at 7, we are certain this phone will have a few extra features on the E5 and an emphasis on messaging.
