Nokia E5 Deals Officially Coming to Orange

July 27th, 2010 by Caroline

The latest Nokia E-Series smartphone, the E5, is confirmed as “coming soon” to Orange UK.

The network has announced it will be offering Nokia E5 deals shortly on various monthly contract options. Depending on the deal you choose, you’ll be able to get the handset for free.

With a full QWERTY and 2.36 inch screen, the E5 offers you the best of both worlds when it comes to mobile communication. Or as Orange puts it: The Nokia E5 will help you keep in touch professionally and personally with great features such as instant messaging, email and social networks.

The QWERTY keyboard is great for typing long messages, whether you’re emailing colleagues or indulging in instant messaging with friends. Connectivity is through both 3G and Wi-Fi so accessing the internet is reliable and quick, and the Nokia E5 has support for up to ten email accounts. The Push Email function on the E5 means you won’t need to check for new mail – you’ll be notified on the home screen when you receive an email, saving you both time and effort.

Powered by the ARM 11 600MHz internal processor, the E5 runs fairly swiftly. Covered in our Nokia E5 reviews area on this website, is the phone’s impressive camera. With 5-megapixels, autofocus and LED flash, you can capture decent quality images and video footage. There is also an MP3 player and FM radio onboard the smartphone so you can listen to music or tune into programmes as you take snaps.

Light at just 126g – 11g lighter than the iPhone 4, for example – the E5 is portable and comes with Ovi Maps. You can use the phone to plan journeys and receive turn-by-turn navigation as you travel, helping you to stay on track.
