The portable and affordable Nokia X-Series phone could be available to buy as soon as 1 September.
Nokia X2 deals are anticipated to launch in the UK in September this year, and possibly at the very beginning of the month. Part of the range of handsets that includes the X3 and the X6, the X2 is a slim and attractive candybar device with an aluminium back cover.
Impressive music credentials, the X2 has Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio connector so you can choose to listen through wireless or standard headphones. And there are also dual speakers inbuilt into this Nokia so you can share tracks with friends or just listen out loud when the mood takes you. To make listening easier when you’re on the move, there are dedicated music keys down the side of the phone so you can control tracks and volume directly. There is also an FM radio to provide plenty of listening choice – although with a memory cabable of up to 16GB via a microSD card and data transfer via USB or Bluetooth, you’ll be able to add an array of your own songs to this phone.
Light at only 81g, the Nokia X2 is pocket-friendly, which is especially good if you like to text when you’re going somewhere. Nokia Messaging is included for emails and instant messaging, and the Facebook app lets you interact on this site straight from the home screen.
The Nokia X2 also has a decent camera thrown in, with 5-megapixels. You can find out more between now and September, if you’re tempted by this little budget Nokia, in our X2 reviews section.
