The budget Android from ZTE is now available on Three UK – so if you want a pocket-friendly device that offers a surprising amount for a small price, ZTE Racer deals may be right for you.
The ZTE Racer is an attractive smartphone with a 2.8 inch QVGA screen. Although a resistive touchscreen, considering this handset only costs £110 on Pay As You Go and contracts start from £13 per month, the screen size is generous. And once you get used to having to apply that extra pressure with your finger presses and swipes, you should be able to message and use the phone’s features easily.
Running on the Android 2.1 OS means the Racer comes with a range of pre-installed goodies including Google Maps, Google Mail, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook. Staying in contact with friends can be through social networking sites, email, texts or straightforward phone conversations. There is support for 3G and access to the Android Market so you add additional apps and features directly onto the ZTE Racer.

The director of mobile device operations, ZTE (UK) Ltd, Mr Wu Sa said: “The Racer is ZTE’s next step in making smartphones available to the UK market at prices affordable by the majority of consumers. Mobile handsets using Android operating systems are taking a large share of the market and ZTE is investing in the innovative platform with Three to meet customer demand.”
