The internet is such a wonderful place to search for information; you never know where you will find it. More often than not, Google’s search engine provides an excellent range of search results. But for more detailed previews and leaks, people have to dig down a little deeper.
Take the case of the recently confirmed pages on Amazon UK for a couple of HTC’s upcoming smart phones. Granted that both devices do not have any official pictures yet, the whole setup is already painting a pretty good picture.
First up, the HTC Vision; this device is listed at Amazon UK as the HTC Desire Z. The device is pretty impressive because of the fact that it is HTC’s first Android handset with a physical slide out keyboard. Naturally, this QWERTY four row pad is the big highlight of the handset and is a prime reason why people might want to invest in the smart phone.
The other device from HTC is the HTC Ace or the HTC Desire HD. Considering the naming conventions that HTC is following, it is easy to see that both devices are heavily based on the HTC Desire which was released several months back.
The HTC Desire Z is being priced at 455 Pounds while the Desire HD comes with a price tag of 415 Pounds. Overall, these are very nice prices for smart phones that make use of Google’s open source operating system and of course, impressive hardware specs.
Fans of HTC should note that the pages that we found on Amazon are ultimately, placeholders. And while there is data to be found on the site, there is no confirmation that the data that has been published is actually true. At this point, it would be wisest to consider the specs to be speculations and based only on rumors.
