Nokia is revamping the entire Ovi Music store experience. For the past few months, Symbian users accessing the service have complained with the lack of support that the system has been showing.
While the Comes With Music service is pretty good, it lacks plenty of user friendly features. Considering how much users have to deal with using the service (including that pesky DRM software), the least Nokia could have done was to make things easier. Anyway, with a very small amount of UK users on the service, Nokia has seen it fit to re-release the service with an all new layout designed to make looking for tracks easier.
The Finnish mobile phone maker has also confirmed that they are launching the recently revealed X3-02 smart phone by the end of September. It is still a slightly longer period than what we expected, but this is still a mobile phone worth waiting for.
Naturally, the biggest charm of the handset is the fact that it is a simple looking yet stylish phone. The color choices given to buyers will be varied which means that you can get one that suits your style best. Mixing in the touch screen with the numeric keypad also has a surprising charm to it. The S40 OS proves that even an old platform can be pretty useful until today.
Lastly, it has been announced that the Nokia N8 smart phone will not be available until later this coming September. Now, for those of you tracking the news, the device was originally slated for an end of August launch. It has not been announced why the date has been pushed back, though the US website for Nokia shows that pre-orders are now open and that September truly is the expected launch date.
Expect to see this device on local store shelves pretty soon.
