Business Smartphone Motorola ES400 Launches on O2 UK

October 27th, 2010 by Caroline

The capable and practical device from Motorola is now available on O2 for all business and corporate customers.

The Motorola ES400 is a tough business phone with a so-called ruggedised design. To look at, the ES400 resembles a rugged BlackBerry as it combines a 3 inch touchscreen with full QWERTY keyboard – and the frame can handle a few knocks in the quest to complete your mobile task.

This handset is an Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA) device and offers an array of features for managing your workload when away from the office. There is secure access, excellent connectivity support, and a battery that lasts up to 250 hours on standby or offers up to 6 hours of talktime. The inbuilt 3-megapixel camera isn’t only good for quick snaps as you go about your day, but it also has an integrated barcode reader.

Running on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, the Motorola ES400 handles document management professionally. You can read more details on this phone’s performance over in our Motorola ES400 reviews section, and don’t forget to let us know what you think to this handset too.

Network provider O2 said on its website: “The ES400 is designed to give people everything they need to complete their jobs when out in the field. The three inch touch screen, full keyboard and built in loudspeaker all add up to make a phone built for life on the road. And with a ruggedised design, tested to US military standards, hitting the road may not be the end of the world.”

Motorola ES400 deals on O2 are only available to business customers, and if you’re interested in this device you’re advised to get in touch with your account manager. O2 has stated that this phone has a replacement list price (RLP) of £426.
