Moving on, Samsung has finally decided to come up with a real successor to the original Wave. As many may recall, the Wave 2 is a mid range smart phone that is actually more of a downgrade from the original device. The Samsung Wave II however, is a significant upgrade to the Bada powered smart phone.
The most noticeable improvement is with the touch screen display. It is now larger at 3.76 inches and will be using super LCD screen technology (which is about the same as the super AMOLED screen). As expected, the phone still packs an ARM Cortex A8 1GHz CPU and a 5 mega pixel snapper.
This new phone will certainly be a bit confusing for many folks as it shares a similar name to the older Wave 2 handset. The difference is easy to notice on text as the “II” is visually noticeable.
Lastly, it seems that Microsoft is filing a lawsuit against Motorola. The case seems to specifically target Android handsets from the phone maker. Elements such as email synching, contacts and calendar features and layouts are among the technologies and features that have been flagged by the lawsuit.
So far, Motorola has yet to make an official statement regarding the issue
