Yes, the wait is now over if you’ve been longing to get hold of the Motorola Milestone 2 smartphone – it is now available in the UK.
Online retailer Expansys is selling the Milestone 2 for £379 SIM-free and states the handset is in stock now.
Motorola Milestone 2 deals are also offered on Vodafone, from £30 a month. We’ll keep you posted on any other UK networks that start selling this enhanced Milestone phone.
If you liked the original Milestone, you’ll surely love the Milestone 2. The slide-out QWERTY keyboard has been improved and there is a 1GHz processor powering this device. Compared to the first Milestone’s 600MHz, this will make a big difference to the speed of running times. This Motorola is on a par with other high-end smartphones that have also recently entered the market, including the HTC Desire Z.
The Milestone 2 also comes with a 5-megapixel snapper with flash and HD video support. And if you like sharing images and photos, you can do so easily thanks to the social networking integration and strong connectivity options. Motorola has added its MotoBlur UI onto this phone, which displays all your communications in an easy-to-view stream – you can see what friends have been up to and who’s been messaging you straight from the home screen.
This phone runs on the latest Android 2.2 OS and brings all the benefits too, including enhanced multitasking. And of course, as a Google smartphone, you can browse and download additional apps directly from the Android Market.
