New in Mobile: Nokia E7, C6 and Apps

November 25th, 2010 by Best Mobile Contracts

A new Nokia smart phone, the E7 is going to be released in the UK at a slightly higher price tag of 585 GBP. Overall, we are not too surprised that the handset costs an arm and a leg –unless the Symbian is truly your thing, this is one purchase that would need some careful studying before jumping into. At the very least, try out the device before deciding that it is for you.

Of course, the E7 has its own great features as well. The device’s new OS is refreshing to use for anyone who is tired of the iOS and the Android platforms. The slide out QWERTY keyboard shows a great four row layout and great aesthetic design. Overall, the E7 is certainly worth a look for anyone checking out smart phones.

If typing is not your thing but you still love to browse online to check your social networking account, then the Nokia C6 is the perfect phone for you. Being hailed as a social networking handset, the C6 brings users a 3.32 inch touch screen display, an 8 mega pixel camera and HD video playback and recording.

Thanks to the Ovi store, the Symbian OS has access to the large library of media under the Ovi music Store and of course, the device will also have free sat nav guidance thanks to the Ovi Maps promo by Nokia.

Fans of the cult sci-fi hit Tron are certainly looking forward to the modern sequel that is slated to come in a few weeks. Those who are excited are being invited to try out Coke’s new Light Cycle live application that has come out. Tron fans will be able to use the GPS loaded live app game by moving around, creating a virtual light wall –much like the light cycle game in the movie.
