Designed for effortless communication and easy mobile social networking, the Nokia C6-01 has launched in the UK on contract, PAYG and SIM-free.
You can now get hold of Nokia C6-01 deals on O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone, with monthly contracts available from £20 a month. If you prefer Pay As You Go, this Nokia is offered through O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone from £219. The phone is also obtainable SIM-free for £295.
This Symbian^3-based smartphone is often confused with the Nokia C6, but like the C7 and E7 handsets the C6-01 phone runs on the latest version of this operating system. More compact and advanced, although with a similar emphasis on social networking like the C6, the C6-01 has a 3.2 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and a metal casing. And there is no slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
There is support for Facebook and Twitter on this Nokia, together with multiple email accounts support and customisable home screens. For taking photos on the move, the C6-01’s camera is similar to the C7 and E7’s although less powerful than the N8’s – there are 8-megapixels, a dual LED flash, and HD video ability.
Sami Lehtinen, MD of Nokia UK said: “With its powerful combination of social networking, imaging, music, maps, and the new Symbian operating system, the Nokia C6-01 is a sophisticated yet elegant smartphone.”
Available in black and silver, other features of this device include a memory capacity up to 32GB with a microSD card, a document viewer for Word and Excel, and a 3.5mm audio jack connector for listening to the music player and radio.
