The all white version of Apple’s iPhone 4 handset will be coming out soon, though it will be a while before the white device lands in stores, at least it has not been cancelled. There has been plenty of back-lash and disappointment over an earlier move from Apple that dampened the spirits of those looking forward to the white version –apparently, the device might have been cancelled.
Now, it seems that the white iPhone 4 will be available by spring of next year –which is really great news (though we can hardly fathom why so many people are excited over a plain white handset, black is far classier). Many are also hoping that the antenna for the new version would have already been fixed.
The Apple iOS 4.3 update is due to come out pretty soon. The announcement arrived just a while back confirming that despite the 4.2’s iPad centric update, a new version that centers heavily on the iPhone and the iPod Touch has also come out. Expect to see the new iOS 4.3 firmware to be available within the next couple of weeks.
Nokia’s MeeGo powered N9 smart phone has been hiding away from our radars for the past couple of months. Now it appears that new information regarding the MeeGo handset has finally come out and from the looks of it, this device is aiming to be the most power gaming phone the industry has ever seen. It will be packing a 1.2 GHz CPU, a 4.2 inch capacitive touch screen display and according to reports, a CPU capable of rendering about 160 polygons per second. While good, this does not mean that Nokia already has a sure winner. Like all gaming devices, it all boils down to which games will be available in the device.
