There are several new devices coming up and before we all get crowded in with all the new gadgets, here’s a quick heads up of everything that you would want to know.
The newest Acer beTouch series smart phone is upon us. The new device has been designated as the beTouch E140 and it is an Android 2.2 Froyo mobile handset. The device looks spiffy clean in its design and judging from the initial hardware specs: 2.8 inch touch screen, 3.2 mega pixel camera –this phone is turning out to be a low end budget device.
Huawei has two mobile phones for all Android fans: the Ideos X5 and Ideos X6 handsets. According to sources, the two devices are going to provide users with a pretty good range of price choices. While no specific numbers have been given, it is known that the X6 will be the premium priced device while the X5 will be on the more practical side of the scale. Both phones will have the updated 2.2 Froyo version of the OS.
The X5 is a smaller handset that brings a 3.8 touch screen display and also packs a 5 mega pixel camera complete with LED flash. Naturally, the device will support HSPA and 3G connectivity. The X6 on the other hand, is promising to be a powerhouse of a phone –or at the very least, a high end Android by today’s standards. Huawei’s packing a 1GHz CPU, HD video recording, an HDMI port, a 4.1 inch touch screen display and a 5 mega pixel camera.
Lastly, Nokia is offering one of the greatest deals we have ever seen: a free Nokia Booklet 3G for every purchase of the X3 Touch and Type handset. The only catch here is that users will have to get the X3 through a monthly tariff and it will cost a solid 40 Pounds per month. Still, the plan does provide a lot: 1,200 minutes of voice calls, unlimited texting and 1GB of data.
