Word has come in that Google will be rolling out Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 updates over the air to Nexus One and Nexus S handsets. This won’t really be major news for Nexus S owners, since the 2.3.3 iteration of Gingerbread only fixes a few bugs and expands the NFC capabilities of the handset a bit. For Nexus One owners, though, this will be the first taste of Gingerbread that Google has given them and definitely big news. The updates are expected to take a few weeks to complete so we advise that you follow Google’s advice and “be patient”. And when you get your first chance to play with Android Gingerbread, let us know what you think!
