Though the Motorola Xoom tablet is due to be available to lucky customers in the U.S. in just a few more days, it appears that those who buy the tablet straight away may have to make do without some key functionality for a little while. This news comes courtesy of a tiny note on the Verizon Motorola Xoom page, which has revealed to us that Adobe Flash won’t be available on the Xoom until the frustratingly vague time of “Spring 2011”. That said, Flash 10.2 for mobile devices is expected to be released in the next few weeks and it’s possible that the Motorola Xoom is only waiting for this, in which case Xoom owners won’t be Flash-less for too long, at least. In the meantime, we in the U.K. are still awaiting an official release date for the Motorola Xoom so we may bypass the Flash delay altogether.
