Hot on the heels of the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy SII at Mobile World Congress, we’ve just received an official press release from Three UK who are confirming that they’ll be including the Galaxy SII in their line-up. No specific release date has been mentioned but Three do describe the SII as “one of the must-have Android handsets for the first half of 2011”, implying that it’ll be released before June at the very least!

Hot off the press from Mobile World Congress, Three announces today that it will be ranging the Samsung Galaxy SII, an impressive Android Gingerbread smartphone. With a spec sheet boasting full HD recording and playback functionality and a 4GB memory this will be one of the must-have Android handsets for the first half of 2011.
With a dual-core processor at its heart, this new device performs multiple functions more quickly than its single-core counterparts, enabling users to play more complex games on the generous 4.27” screen with more realistic effects.
