Great news for Apple fans, as Vodafone have today announced that the price of the Apple iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS will be cut significantly across a range of their contracts. In some cases, contracts which previously included an initial fee for the handset will now be bundled with the iPhone for free. With these big cuts in price, we can’t help wondering if Vodafone might know something we don’t. Such as an expected release date for a certain Apple iPhone 5 we’ve been hearing so much talk about, perhaps? It would make sense for Vodafone to reduce prices to clear stock a little if they knew something big was just around the corner. Anyway, it’s great news for us because it makes getting hold of an ever-desirable iPhone that bit more affordable.
Here’s a low-down of the new deals:
Apple iPhone 4 16GB
The 16 GB iPhone 4 is now available for free on two more contracts. The first includes 900 minutes and unlimited texts for £40 per month, and previously would have required an up-front payment of £89 for the handset. Apple iPhone 3GS 8GB
The iPhone 3GS was previously available for £59 plus a £30 per month contract including 300 minutes and unlimited texts. The phone is now free on this tariff, saving you £59. Find this deal here.
Apple iPhone 4 32GB
There are also two new deals on the 32GB version of the iPhone 4. The first offers 1200 minutes and unlimited texts for £45 per month. The cost of the handset with this deal has been cut from £129 to £79, saving you £50. Find it here.
