Two of Samsung’s latest Android phones to join its Galaxy range will soon be available in the UK, as both the Galaxy Mini and Galaxy Pro arrive on Three UK next month.
Sporting distinctive designs, the Galaxy Mini is an affordable device while the newly announced Galaxy Pro is geared towards the professional user.
Both run on Android 2.2 OS and come with all the Google goodies you’d expect as well as access to all the apps in the Android Market. You can turn the Mini and the Pro into portable Wi-Fi hotspots “at the touch of a button” too.
The Samsung Galaxy Mini is, naturally, compact with a 3.14 inch capacitive display, 3-megapixel camera, 600MHz processor, and up to 32GB of storage. You can choose between a black and silver Galaxy Mini and a black and green handset when the phone launches.
Sylvia Chind, Head of Branded Devices at Three UK, said: “The Samsung Galaxy Mini is a great value Android smartphone. The fun yet functional phone will be a very clever choice for our entry-level contract and Pay As You Go customers.”
With a BlackBerry-style look to it, the Samsung Galaxy Pro has a 2.8 inch touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. The device comes with an 800MHz processor, 3-megapixel camera, and Social Hub Premium. This Hub merges all your communications such as email, instant messaging and Facebook, into one easy-to-access place. And updates are shown in real time to make sure you stay up to date.
If you’re tempted by either of these new Samsung Galaxy handsets, both will be available in April.
