Sony Ericsson have announced an upgraded new version of their flagship handset, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, at IFA today. The new handset will be called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S and is expected to be available globally from October. Details on the specifications of the new Arc S are a little sketchy at the moment, but we’re currently expecting it to come sporting an upgraded 1.4 GHz processor and loaded with the very latest Android updates. We can also see from the early images that the Arc S features a very similar sleek and slim design to its predecessor. We expect more details on the Xperia Arc S in the run up to that October launch date, so stay tuned!
