New and current Virgin Media customers can now sign-up for shorter, 12-month mobile phone deals thanks to the tariff changes introduced by the company.
From this month onwards, Virgin customers can get hold of the latest mobile phones from as little as £7.50 per month. There are pay monthly options on 12-month or 24-month contracts whereas previously you had to choose between 18-month and 24-month offers.
If you’re a BlackBerry fan, these plans include unlimited email and the BB Messenger service. And if you like to access the internet from your phone, you have the choice of a web-inclusive tariff or paying 50p a day for 25MB, and only pay for the days you browse online.

Tariffs can be tailored to suit individual needs too, with the option to add more of the things you like – double the number of monthly minutes for an extra £2, for example, or pay £5 more a month and receive 5GB of monthly internet data allowance.
Jamie Heywood, Director of Mobile at Virgin Media said: “We are always looking for ways to help our customers to get the best value for their money. Our newly refreshed monthly mobile tariffs offer a simpler way for our customers to tailor their phone packages to suit their needs, whilst giving customers greater contract flexibility, more minutes, texts and mobile data.
“These tariffs will really come into their own when combined with our popular Mobile Bonus deal to give Virgin Media customers a fantastic way to save money whilst getting more from their home phone or Mobile service.”
