Great news if you’re longing to get your hands on the white Galaxy S II smartphone in the UK as not only has Samsung confirmed it will be released here on 1st September but now T-Mobile has joined the party.
We already knew that other network big hitters including O2 and Three intend to offer the beautiful S II in white soon, but now we’ve had confirmation that T-Mobile is set to launch the white handset next month too.
At this stage, there’s no word on the actual date (we’re hopeful it will be early September) or pricing. But as the white S II is exactly the same as the black model except for the colour, you may want to take a look at current Galaxy S II offers for this high-end mobile to get an idea of what to expect.
Samsung’s “slimmest, lightest, fastest and now whitest smartphone” is likely to be popular – after all, think how patient people were, waiting for the white iPhone 4. And combine this with the fact the Galaxy S II has already surpassed sales of 5 million units and all the goodies of the original handset are included in this version but with a cool white exterior on top.
So you can still enjoy the 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, super-fast experience powered by the 1.2GHz dual-core processor, slim design and 8.49mm deep frame, Android Gingerbread OS, and 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording and playback.
Also included is Samsung’s AllShare technology which enables easy sharing of pictures, videos and movies with other devices. Not to mention the Samsung Hubs, providing access to e-books, music, entertainment and more.
