With the launch of the latest version of Android, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, last week, there’s been a plethora of news and speculation regarding which manufacturers and handsets would get the new OS flavour.

Sony Ericsson confirms no more updates for Xperia X10

When asked on the social networking site, whether the Xperia X10 will get the latest version of Gingerbread, the company replied there will be “no more updates” for the X10.
While this is undoubtedly bad news for X10 owners, it’s not the most shocking of revelations, given that the handset is almost two-years old now. At least it received Android 2.3 Gingerbread over the summer.
