Now that can’t be bad, can it? So if you’re tempted by the iPhone 4S, you may want to investigate this pre-order offer further and take a look at the different contract offers.
24 months
The cheapest 24-month iPhone 4S contract is £26 per month. You need to pay a fairly hefty upfront amount for the 16GB iPhone (£359) but after that you can enjoy all that the gadget has to offer plus 100 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB of data included each month.
Alternatively, if you’d prefer to get the iPhone 4S for free on contract, deals start from £46 per month. On this option, you’ll receive 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data monthly.
The 32GB model will cost you £439 on the £26 monthly deal, and you’ll need to pay £79 for the phone on the £46 per month offer. If you want the 32GB iPhone 4S for free then the monthly amount is £62 – this does come with 3000 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data each month, though, to soften the blow.
The 64GB version is not offered free on contract. Instead, it’ll cost you £519 on the £26 monthly plan, £159 on the £46 tariff, and £29 on the £62 monthly option.
18 months
Similar to the 24-month deals, on 18-month contracts, you’ll pay considerably more for more memory.
16GB deals start at £31 per month with an upfront fee of £359. This includes 100 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB of data.
For a free iPhone 4S on an 18-month offer, the cheapest monthly amount is £51 and comes with 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data.
32GB deals also start at £31 per month but with a bigger, £439, upfront phone cost.
The £51 monthly option comes with a phone charge of £79.
For a free handset, the £67 monthly amount comes with 3000 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data.
64GB deals begin at £31 a month with a £519 charge for the iPhone.
The £51 monthly offer has a £159 fee for the phone, and the £67 monthly contract a £29 fee for the handset.
12 months
There are four tariffs available on the 12-month option.
As you would expect, the added flexibility of only having a contract that lasts a year means you have to pay a bit more for the phone and each month.
16GB iPhone 4S deals start at £36 per month with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. This tariff comes with a £319 upfront charge for the phone.
The handset cost reduces to £139 on the £51 monthly option, and includes 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data every month.
32GB deals match the 16GB ones, but the handset cost increases to £399 for the £36 monthly deal and to £219 for the £51 monthly option.
The 64GB iPhone 4S costs £479 on a £36 monthly tariff, and £299 on the £51 per month deal.
