It isn’t only us here at Best Mobile Contracts who are getting into the festive swing of things with a Christmas giveaway and free gifts galore! Oh no, it seems many of you are – and mobile phone networks are no exception!
Following last week’s news that Orange is giving away a Christmas gift box that includes a pair of Angle & Curve headphones with every PAYG mobile that costs £30 or more, T-Mobile has decided to join in the fun and offer you goodies this festive season.
T-Mobile is giving away £20 worth of free apps when you buy an Android smartphone. As the network neatly puts it, “appy Christmas”!
The good news is this offer applies on any Android phone, excluding the T-Mobile G1 and G2 models, bought during the Christmas period as well as for any T-Mobile customer upgrading to an Android mobile. You will receive the free apps if you buy or upgrade between now and 24th December, and you then have until 31st January 2012 to download the apps of your choice.
Here’s how you can download your free apps:
- Make sure you’ve got internet on your phone
Pay as you go
- Pop the T-Mobile SIM into your new phone
- You’ll get a text showing you how to get six months of free internet
You Fix or pay monthly plan
- The internet is already included and set up for you
- Get your free apps
- Text XMAS to 480004* and we’ll send you a link to get to our apps page
You have 7 apps to select before the end of January, and you can do this one at a time if you wish. And once you’ve downloaded your free apps, there’s no need to panic as there’ll be plenty more of the free and paid-for varieties available in the Android Market.
