Fashion and technology meet once again, this time in the form of the new LG Prada 3.0 smartphone.
The third phone created by the Prada and LG partnership, this handset represents “the best in style and substance” and merges cutting-edge chic with technical expertise.
So fashionistas brace yourself for a fashion phone that actually delivers on the specs front too, as the LG Prada 3.0 is packed full of Android goodies as well as a strikingly slim and sleek design.

Run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, with a “future scheduled upgrade” to ICS, the Prada 3.0 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor to keep things whizzing along nicely. Inside there is an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, 8GB of storage plus extra space via a microSD card, 1540mAh battery, and ample connectivity support including Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi Direct and GPS.
Then there’s the exterior. Said to have “one of the biggest and brightest screens in the world”, the LG Prada 3.0 boasts a 4.3-inch WVGA Nova Plus display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and 800-nit brightness. Depth wise, this fashion-conscious smartphone from LG and Prada measures a trim 8.5mm – and add to this LG’s “signature Floating Mass Technology, optically enhancing the thinness”, and you have one impressively slim device.
Even the UI is stylish, with black, grey and white menu and icons. Plus, you can dress your Prada 3.0 in an array of accessories, including a branded cradle and pouches.
Confirmed last month for a UK release early in the New Year, you don’t have long to wait to get your hands on this latest Prada phone. We’ll keep you posted on pricing, and in the meantime you can take a close-up peek at the device and share your thoughts on this LG phone with us – is the 3.0 model a must-have handset of 2012?
