T-Mobile has added three new smartphones to its Coming Soon page today, the first new handsets of the year for the UK network.
Two of the phones are BlackBerry devices, which are expected to land later this month, and one is the latest creation from the LG and Prada partnership, scheduled for a February release – and all three should appeal to different budgets and operating systems preference.
BlackBerry Bold 9790
The more affordable version of the high-end Bold 9900, the Bold 9790 still packs a great punch for its expected price tag (it’s available on other networks currently for around £25 per month including a free handset).
In addition to the traditional BlackBerry design of screen plus QWERTY keyboard, this device benefits from a touch-sensitive display and modern look. Inside it is powered by a 1GHz processor and operates on the BB OS 7, meaning it has a Liquid Graphics interface as well as a range of other enhanced features that this version of the software delivers. For example, the Bold 9790 supports NFC and Augmented Reality technology, and makes it easy to keep your work and personal items separate.
BlackBerry Curve 9380
The first phone in the Curve range with a full-touchscreen, the Curve 9380 is a decent little BlackBerry. Coming to the four major networks, including T-Mobile soon, you get a lot for your money (deals for the 9380 range from the £20 per month mark) – BB OS 7, 3.2-inch display and Liquid Graphics UI, NFC, 5-megapixel camera, and the standard excellent email support and BlackBerry Messenger.
LG Prada 3.0
The phone for the fashion- and technology-conscious, the third smartphone in the LG-Prada line boasts a 800-nit brightness display, svelte frame, Gingerbread OS, 8-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage, and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
The LG Prada 3.0 is now available on pre-order in the UK and expected to land on Phones 4u at the end of this month. T-Mobile should start selling this handset from early February onwards.
Are you tempted by any of these smartphones, coming soon to T-Mobile?
