UK fans of Nokia’s Lumia range can now get their hands on the more affordable model, the Lumia 710 smartphone.
Announcing the release date via Twitter, Nokia officially marked the launch of the Windows Phone device.
The little brother of the Lumia 800 was expected to arrive in the UK at this time, after network Three revealed in December that the 710 handset was coming soon.
If you’re tempted by this scaled-down, specs and price wise, Nokia Windows Phone you can still expect a decent amount of exciting features for your money.
The Lumia 710 has a 3.7-inch ClearBlack display which ensures images are shown in crisp detail and you get little or no glare when viewing the screen in direct sunlight. Powered by a 1.4GHz single-core chip, this handset packs 8GB of inbuilt memory plus 25GB of SkyDrive cloud space, a 5-megapixel camera, and a number of Nokia functions including Nokia Drive and Nokia Music.

Offered in a black or white design, the Lumia 710 features a swappable back cover so you customise the colour of the phone. Mix and match according to your personal preference, or perhaps to match a particular outfit.
Nokia Lumia 710 deals on contract cost from around £20 per month with a free mobile. SIM free, this smartphone is priced a little under £300.
