Samsung disappointed many people when it stated that they would have no major launches at this year’s Mobile World Congress, and certainly no sign of the Galaxy S3. A press conference that was scheduled to be held in France got many people excited only for their hopes to be quashed shortly after by Samsung stating that this would not include any phone launches either.
But despite this disappointment Samsung has managed to get some buzz going again by talk of a press conference to be held on March 15th which will outline their smartphone line-up for 2012.
With the Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Mini 2 already making an appearance it seems quite likely that this press conference will be when we finally get a glimpse of the Galaxy S3 amongst many other phones.
Some people are even suggesting that the promotional poster for the event in Amsterdam includes subliminal messages with the letters G and S as well as the number 3 hidden within the image.
Even though the Galaxy S3 will not make an appearance at Mobile World Congress its looks as though we might not have to wait very long for one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year.
