Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich, has been available on the Galaxy Nexus since its launch but has yet to make its way to other Android phones. Now it has been revealed that the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note will be two of the first Android phones to see an update from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich, with the update expected to become available on March 1st.
Owners of these phones might not be able to upgrade straight away as they will still need to rely on their networks to push out the update – but this should at least take place at some point during March. The Note and S2 should both see an update to ICS before the recently announced HTC devices.
